Maxgrow Supplement

Maxgrow Supplement if animal-free, protein-free, chemical-defined cell culture media supplement. Adding Maxgrow Supplement with appropriate ratio during monoclonal screening can reduce the use of serum/serum substitutes, and improve clone formation; Adding Maxgrow Supplement with appropriate ratio during CHO cell culture process development and manufacturing can significantly improve the cell density and viability of difficult-to-grow CHO cells/clones, thus improving the process performance.

How to use

We recommend to use 201 as seed-train media after cell thawing, and use seeding density of 0.3~0.8×10⁶ cells/mL for cell passage and expansion. For N-1 culture, change to 303 as basal media, and after expanding to desire seed volume, with seeding density been controlled as 1.0~2.0×10⁶ cells/mL, perform fed-batch culture using 403A1+ 403B1 as feed. it is recommended to feed every other day starting from Day2 at 3%+0.3%, and users can also optimize the feed strategy based on the cell line used. Add 0.5% Maxgrow Supplement (5mL/L) to 303 media can further improve culture performance.

Max series can be used for cell lines using GS screening systems, including CHO-K1, CHO-S, and CHOK1SV.
